I just got home from work (well, for a moment... i've gotta get back, cuz my company's moving this week, and I've got some shit to do tonight at the old office) to find my laptop chilling on the desk in my room, with the variable speed fan going full blast, the puter warm as hell, and a message on the screen saying "Windows cannot start due to a hard drive failure... you're fucked" or something to that effect. Ran the HD self test through my BIOS, it got to 20%, then kicked right out to a FAIL error code.
However, having just purchased this laptop new at Best Buy in August, I'm gonna HOPE there's some sort of warranty policy still in effect, cuz I JUST finished paying this bitch OFF, like... two days ago?
This is not cool. Very not cool. There's a lot of important shit on there, some of which happens to be backed up on my friend Jason's computer, I hope still... if not, I'm seriously fucked.
So if I'm not online as much for a little while, y'all know why. I'm on my dad's computer right now, but he's not all about me using it, so I'm gonna log off now before he comes in here. Just wanted everyone to know what's up, and that I'll be back as soon as I get this sorted out, if not sooner.
Hope the HP repair facility doesn't notice all the dirty dirty porn on there...
