Greatest weekend ever!!! 
On Friday I went to a friends housewarming party which was nice and chilled. I had to be sensible because I had an early start but this dampen my spirits any. It was a good, relaxed way to start the weekend.
An early start on Saturday so that I could travel up to Derby for the first game of the season. Me and my Dad were staying in a hotel just outside Derby and we got there in plenty of time to have a few beers. Taxi into Derby for the game and a well earned point for the Albion which put us both in a good mood for the rest of the evening. An evening which consisted of more beer and some excellant pub grub
Got up early on Sunday to go down to Edgebaston, Birmingham to watch the England cricket team complete a convincing win other the damn convicts (Australia). It didn't work out like that as the damn convicts wont admit when they are beat. As Australia edged nearer and nearer an incredible victory we began to fear the worst and a long, silent drive home was invisaged.
Until with Ebgland 1 shot from defeat a dramatic victory was accomplished. Our smiles returned and the drive home was done in glorious sunshine to match our mood. Perfect.
The only bad thing abput all this is it makes work seem even worse, especially as my Green pArty hopes have been dashed. Today was torture.
