I have no time for religion at all but I do appreciate a 4 day weekend. As I come to the end of Easter weekend I think a brief report is in order.
Thursday - went to Hollys, drank expensive flavoured vodka and talked shit until the small hours of the morning. Being bitchy is great.
And we watched both Kill Bills which are amazing. Uma is hot!!!
Friday - the big one. Went up to London for a Pipettes show in Brixton Windmill. It was an all day event and we got there about 7 without getting seriously lost in Brixton thankfully.
The Pips were headlining so had a fair old wait before they came on. I dodn't waste a second and was pretty wasted by the time they came on. They were excellant as always and the crowd were really into it.
Of the other bands only Handbags At Dawn who were loud and very funny. Met Tim the bassist afterwards and hes a top bloke as well.
On to a party we went. Free drink and a flat overlooking News International, the perfect location to plot the destruction of Rupert Murdochs empire. Not a terrorist strike but a progressovist strike.
And then onto a pub at 4 in the morning which is a weird feeling. After we left here I stopped drinking and I think this is the point to start talking about
Saturday - While we were in the pub a beautiful day had dawned and I decided to go and be a tourist.
I took photos of the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, the Bank Of England and St Pauls. If any of thme have turned out ok I will put them in my pics on here.
After all this excitment I got a train home from a completely deserted train station. Not just empty of customers but empty of staff as well. Spooky
Sunday - A few pints and then back to Hollys for more vodka and more shit talking. A serious discussion about sharing a flat with Holly and her flatmate Kath. After all I'm getting a bit old to be living at home
Nothing has happened today and I thank GOd for that as my body is sending out surrender signals from all its extremities.
Back to work tomorrow
