John Peel R.I.P.
It feels like a piece of my life has been taken away from me. I never knew him but he made an incredible difference to my life. Lying awake late at night as he played music I'd never heard before (and some I never wanted to hear again) was how I spent some of the most magical moments of my life. He had this wonderful way of making you feel included and important when you listened, like every single listener was important.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family, they have all of my thoughts.
