My devasttaing bout of self pity is over. Its good to have friends.
Thursday night was one of those wonderful experiences which crop up now and then, cost next to nothing and involve very little effort.
Went to a pub in town with 5 friends and everybody was in a great mood. The banter was great, the piss taking was funny and uninsulting, issues were talked about and problems were solved. I left whne they threw us out feeling happier and more appreciated then I have done for weeks. It was just nice to be reassured that I still have a place in the world where I can feel comfortable and where people still listen to my opinions.
Starting the weekend on Thursday will probably work out expenzsive though, hopefully I'll have a night without booze before MOnday. NOt counting on it though.
Ellie is coming down. Hopefully her mate will not be able to come (thats mean I knwo but...) and then she'll have to spend time at mine. Scheming is fun.
The new Fiery Furnaces record is awesome.
