For the first time in their brief life I missed a Pipettes gig. Not because I couldn't get there but because the place was full. I suppose thats good. Still pissed off about it though.
Saw Hey! Colossus on Staurday though. Made up for missing the Pipettes and for the football. Sometimes nothing but very very very very loud music will do .
My new favourite band are Help She Can't Swim. Their first single is genius and I'm really looking forward to seeing them again on the 19th. No gigs till then though which might be a bit of a struggle, I will have to find something good to read.
I have been without a book for 5 days now which may be the longest time ever. I read all of the Obserever today though, just to keep the brain ticking over.
It is stupidly hot and muggy here. 20C and mental humidity does not make it easy to sleep.
Going to try though as another fun and exciting week at work begins in 7 1/2 hours. Whooopeeee!!!!
