Sometimes it seems you dont get a choice in what you want to do.
Despite feeling ill I had to go out last night. There was no way I couldn't and I never would have forgiven myself if I hadn't.
First off my friend who studies in Sheffield is in town for a week and he was going out. I could of resisted this because I see him quite a lot and he's always up for a night out.
Secondly my friend who studies in Wycombe was in town and said she wanted to go out. She never goes out so this was a bit harder to resist but I said no as I will see quite a bit of her over the next few weeks.
But the final straw was my friend whos been in Japan for 18 months said he would be in town for last night only.
How am I meant to be sensible with this combination of factors weighed agaiinst me? Staying it was obvioulsy not meant to be.
Having so many of my friends in one place for the first time in years felt really good. Being surrounded by friends is such a great feeling, just felt that nothing could harm me.

yes! being surrounded by friends is the best feeling, i havent seen most of my friends since i graduated college, only in cyberspace, and i miss those times... good for you on going out with your friends
