Ok, I have returned and survived my first day back at work. I was totally dreading going back but it wasn't to bad. Fortunately I have a run of 4 day weeks to get used to it as well. Nice. 
Sheffield was brilliant. People in the North always seem so much friendlier. I have no idea why this is. I love it up there and really should have moved when I had the chance.
Depending on how this week develops I may have the opportunity again. My job is obviously not going anywhere and I'm having a meeting with by boss to explain this. I hope I keep my nerve and explain how I feel instead of just going along with her like I usually do. If I don't like what she says I'm going to quit.
Its all far too stressful for me. I'm sure I'll crack and do exactly the wrong thing.
Best story from the weekend was my friend who lost the ability to talk and walk at the same time. He was ok walking but every time he tried to talk he went sideways Genius.
