Well I survived nearly a week in Massachusetts and met loads of Kai's family without upsetting anyone. Even her Gran liked me which I have been informed is something of a miracle. Christmas was pretty chilled out and relaxed which was nice. I'm not really a fan of massive, stressful Christmases so it was good to find out that Kai's folks were keeping things low key as well.
Kai has made me this awesome blanket from what I am sure is ludicrously expensive yarn. It is incredibly warm and comfy. I also got a graphic novel called Blankets which looks sweet so I am looking forward to reading that.
Back in NYC now and hopefully Kai will have most of the week off work so we can do touristy stuff. I am looking forward to being all camera happy and getting loads of photos of famous stuff to make people jealous.
I have some photos on my camera already. I'll have a look at them soon and decide if any of them are worth showing you lot.

Glad the family took to you. I think that's one of the hardest parts, and at Christmas no less. Keep enjoying it out there.
