I found this article the other day. It describes me pretty well I think although the examples it uses are pretty extreme and I don't think I am as bad as some people. However even though I do like socialising I do need time to recharge after I've been with people for a while. Time and space on my own just thinking or reading is time I consider well spent.

I also hate small talk and making conversation for the sake of it, if there's nothing to say then don't say anything. Our tech support guy can not stand silence and has to fill every second with his voice even if he's just talking shite. This is ok when the office is full because I can blank him out and he has others more talkative then me to chat with. However some Friday afternoons it's just me and him in the office and I get the urge to throttle him. He's a lovely bloke but I really need to find a nice way to get him to shut up.

Anyway other great ways to spend time - looking through record shops, book shops and libraries. I don't even have to get anything, just the looking and being on my own will do. Yeah, introverted. That's me. Sounds better then shy anyway.

In other news I really need to get the fuck off this site tonight. I'm talking untold amounts of shit right now.
