I'm not quite sure how I survived Saturday.
In the afternoon I played football in the pissing rain and freezing wind. I have honestly never felt so cold. It was made worse by the cheap nylon shirts the team I play for on Saturday have, my nipples were in agony.
Then in the evening we had teh fundraiser for our Sunday team. It went really well which was nice seeing as it was again down to me and my Dad to do most of it. We made plenty of money, everyone had a good time and I got spectacularly drunk.
So drunk that I can't remember taking 50 out of my bank. It's from a cash machine in the right part of town and I might have needed some money to get a cab home but I really have no recollection of stopping there. Scary. Mind you that was after I went all the way across town to another bar before realising that I was completley off my face and that the next drink was probably going to kill me.
I'm glad I went home then as I threw up that night anyway and spent the whole day trying not to die on the sofa. I think I slept more then my cat which is no mean achievement.
So for those of you who may have wondered ale, lager, sourz, and sambuka are not a good combination and will make you very ill. I give myself till Christmas Eve before I forget that and attempt to drink the same or worse all over again.
I'm all booked up for SGUK Bristol in January
