Incredible weekend to make up for a shit week at work.
At work I actually managed to get everything essential done on my own. I am an admin God. Unfortunately I hate the place. Maybe I'll use my Godly powers to bring the place crashing down.
Didn't quite manage the whole week without a drink as I cracked on Thursday. It was only to keep my Dad company, honest. I didn't want him drinking on his own whilst he made a curry. So I had a few beers out of the goodness of my heart. I'm so nice.
Didn't drink Friday which is just bizarre. I was completely knackered after work though.
Not drinking Friday night meant I discovered a mythical time apparently known as 'Saturday Morning' in which to get things done. Who'd have thought Saturday didn't start at 2pm eh? Wonders will never cease.
Anyway I used all this bonus time to clean my room and finally, finally make the tape I promised my mate over a year ago. I am pathetic but brilliant at tape making when I eventually get down to it. In fact it's so good I don't want to send it away.
After this burst of activity I headed up to the Big Smoke to me a bunch of SGUK people. They were all fantastic as always and it was exactly what I needed. I got stupidly wasted and let off a whole weeks worth of steam and tension in the space of 4 hours. This man says it better then I will but it is such a relaxed group it just allows me to feel comfortable and be myself. And unlike him my normal self probably is that drunk most of the time.
Then I fell asleep on the train home and woke up in Worthing. There aren't many cabs in Worthing so I got soaked looking for one. Finally got a number from some lovely people but forgot that Worthing has a different area code to Brighton. It took another 10 minutes of walking around before I twigged when I saw the number on the front of the shop. I am a dunce.
Sunday I attempted to play football with very little sleep and a hideous hangover. I wasn't good. I was good at sleeping most of the afternoon though.
Just about recovered enough to drag myself to see the wonderful Mika Miko. They have very rapidly become one of my favourite bands and I was so glad they were every bit as good as I wanted them to be in person. I think I may have been singing their songs on the bus home. I was certainly getting some funny looks
Today I was back at work and it was shit.
Just to prove how god-damn cool I am here is the track listing from the tape.
