Right now the world is just one big hangover. I was woken at four this morning and found that I was lying on a been bag. It was rather comfy. Apparently I had been there for three hours while the party went on around me. Three quarters of a bottle of JD will do that to me.

Today was definitely a good one to have off work as the quantities of orange juice and fatty food I have needed just aren't available in the office. I also don't think they'd have appreciated me falling asleep for three hours at two in the afternoon.

I received my letter inviting me for an interview at the college I've applied for today. That's a weight off my mind and I can start getting excited about it now. I can't actually believe I got off my arse and tried to improve my life. Sitting around moaning about things is normally much more my style.

Fingers crossed for big green gains in today's local elections. Somewhere along the line I've dropped off the electoral register and didn't get to vote this time. I am not that bothered as the Greens have no chance of ever winning my ward but I need to get it sorted in time for the next general election.
