Well I think I'm going to move back in with my parents. Our 6 month lease is up here in November and I'm not really enjoying it and I can't really afford to have a social life while I live here. If I can't go out I get depressed and then get really stroppy which is not good for anyone.
I spent the weekend at my parents place talking this over and I really think it's the right thing to do. Living with my parents is like living with mates anyway as I can talk to them about anything and they talk to me about everything as well. I know everybody goes on about independence but my parents have never really stopped me doing anything so its not an issue.
Plus my parents tidy up. I never realised how messy some people are until I moved here. I know thats a really silly reason to not like living somewhere but when I am not happy it's the little thing sthat really piss me off.
The other thing is that I really moved out of home as it felt like it was expected of me. I think this is a really good example of what happens when I try and do something because it's what everyone else is doing. As moving back home is a bit of a social no-no I think it will go really well for me. My contrayness showing through as always,
SO yeah, its been quite a momentous (and drunken weeked) but I feel this has to be done.
One more and - I will be able to buy records by the bucketful if I move back home. I never realised how much a constant supply of new music meant te me until I had to do without it. God life is boring without new tunes.
Last point - The Romans one again 4-3 and I played the 2nd half and will start next week. Get in!

I've since moved out of there...and I'm happy to report that some of the freak has stayed with me!
My biggest pet peeves about roommates is when they eat my food or break my things without fessing up...which those 8 roommates did often! Real glad to be done with that!
I think my big problem with my current situation is that I'm part city girl and part redneck...so for any given time I can be happy in either place...but eventually I start itching for the other.
As for work...it's surprisingly difficult for me, being a chick, to get a job in the autobody industry. Working here at least for now can put something on my resume for when I go looking for work elsewhere, should it come to that. Besides, I'm sure meeting all the important people in the hotrod industry right now...so maybe I should just eat some ice cream and shut up! lol
