So that was Christmas and very wonderful it was to.

Spent Christmas Eve in the pub with all of my friends. Everybody was in a great mood, no falling outs or tiffs which was remarkable. Got the worlds most expensive taxi home (double fare grr) and passed out.

Then my sister insisted on waking me up far too early. Somehow I survived leaving my bed and made it to the living room for present opening. I remember when this was the most exciting part of the day. These days its just something which has to be done, unless my niece or some of my younger cousins are round when its great still. I got a hair dryer which is weird as this time last year I was a skinhead. whatever Seeing as I am looking through my fringe as I type this I defintely need one now.

After a few hours recuperation me and my parents went down to our local boozer to say hello to everyone down there. A few pints morally prepared us for the task of overeating in the extreme. Silly games and plenty of red wine followed. We must have overdone it though as we never even got round to cheese and port. Have to do that this weekend which is a shame biggrin

Yesterday went up to visit my mums half of the family. Spent a few hours there saying hello and laughing at people who were more drunk then me (a rarity so I had to make the most of it) before my very sober Dad (he's not been well aww) left and I decided to come back so that I could spend today being a slob by myself.

All of that is pretty much how I want Christmas to be every year (without my Dad being ill obviously).

Just New Years to survive now. I normally set drinking records on New Years so it really is a case of surviving it. biggrin

Glad you had a good Christmas smile It was a very nice one over here as well. And yes, now onto New Years! I'll be at the pub enjoying myself very much I'm sure...Thank god it's within walking distance ^.^

Happy New Year!
