I can not stop listening to the new The Blow album, it is fantastic and I don't normally like electronica. Not that it's really electronica I suppose seeing as it's pretty lo-fi and sounds fairly indie but there are no guitars so it still counts.

Long boring week, nothing happened.
My rockstar housemate is a pig and wants to live in a pigsty. I am so glad I am moving out.
We won 8-1 today and I was linesman all game. It also rained a lot. All game.

Also had an interview today which was really tough. Funny thing was the tougher the interview got the more I wanted the job, seemed like it would be a right challenge. I don't think I'll get it but I gave it a shot. No harm in looking is there?

I couldn't stand not having the internet. Anytime the power goes out, or there is a problem with it, I turn into some freak addict with an anxiety disorder. Atleast you have it at work though!
Also, talk about rain getting you down...It hasn't stopped raining for over a week here, and the depression is really starting to kick in
Anyway, I agree about Joanna Newsom's voice actually. I'm a fan of odd voices, but her pipes are a bit too out there for me. I ignore it because her songs are so original. Sometimes I feel like music has failed me, and that everything is just a pale imitation of another pale imitation of something that was once great. Then I hear something like her, and I see that there are still some possibilities out there.
But yeah, her voice is grating. In concert, I cannot stress this enough, she's really really cute.
