I'm new to the whole world of writing a blog so therefore have zilch when it comes to writing one, so here goes anyway.
I'm a 23 year old who has lived his whole life in New England. Grew up in a small town in Vermont. Nothing ever really happened. Started working after High school in retail until I decided to take a giant step and joined up with the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic. After 25 weeks of Basic training and then AIT I made it and was assigned a duty station. I was lucky and got good ol' Ft. Hood Texas, Home of the mighty 1st Cavalry. Not even my first hour at Ft. Hood and I get told "You know you guys are deploying in like two months" from a Staff Sergeant. "Nope, but I'm tracking now." i said with a laugh.
Two months fly by, all my stuff is packed, and I'm really hyped to go. Board the plane and up up and a way I go with 400 brothers and sisters to the far away land of Kuwait.....
Lets fast forward a little as the first month here was all bullshit........ I mean it's still bullshit but it's not as bad as it was the first month here. Not being tasked out to other troops shit because they were to god damn lazy to do it, but I guess that's what you get when you are apart of the most proficient platoon in Head Quarters................. Maybe that's enough for now.
