You ever feel narcissistic and self-indulgent?

I do. I also got to thinking about my own personal history -- all of it, and how it was kind of weird that, thinking back, I couldn't remember what years I'd gone to camp, for example, or when I founded my high school band.

So E and I started trying to reconstruct -- from old emails, letters, and weird questions to old friends -- our own personal histories, and put them on a giant spreadsheet.

Truth to be told, it's a fascinating project. Details not on the timeline start flooding back. Also, it's a good excuse to dig through old boxes of letters, and your box of high school trophies.
