As a costume designer i am required to go to many trendy cheap stores to find the right items.
TODAY i was in Forever 21 shopping for flowy skirts. While waiting at the register to check out this song comes on that repeated "look how very beautiful we are" or something very very close to that...
So i start cracking up. It repeats this for a little over a full minute. I look around and all of these people are busy poking at clothes, then i see the woman in front of me.
imagine this: she's about 70 years old, has really frazzled gray hair, sunken features, wrinkly paper skin, and kind of a glazed look in her eyes. she's crazy.
I couldn't help but think... only in Forever 21.
It's been a long day spent wondering around the city with heavy bags, so i'm going to sleep.

hahaha, I was an assistant manager of Forever 21 for about a week, I hated it so much I quit. Only job I've ever walked out on. I couldn't even put up with it long enough to give two weeks notice.
