I'm sitting at the foot of the bed, dripping sweat.
How would the day would go if I were to wear an orange leather jumpsuit?
This question has kept me up all night...
The struggle that is life.
My desert tent has a luxurious shag carpet.
I shake out the toenail clippings whenever the nomads come by for a visit.
We drink club soda and...

A couple more weird dreams today.
I've been abstaining from alcohol and coffee the last month or so, along with the diet/exercise regime.
It's been over a week since I broke up and I was jonesin' for some sake left in the fridge but instead I took a couple of OTC unisom sleep tablets about 11pm. I was out by midnight and didn't wake up...

I just woke up from a wierd dream.
I still occasionally dream about my ex-girlfriend from almost ten years ago. This time it involved deli sandwiches and children and complicated graphs that she was explaining.
I wonder if this has any relation to another reality.
I had a cold for a few days and so I've been taking nyquil every night to conk out.
I...

Subversion is really nice, so far. I'm still getting used to it a bit. It does things a bit different than cvs.
As for audio equipment, I have a keyboard which has a midi interface, but I haven't gotten around to getting a midi->usb converter, so it's just a normal keyboard so far.
Have you ever tried out "audacity" (the software, that is). I might give that a shot again.

I'm as mutable as... an amoeba... made of a hard, resilient leather... mmm, incorrect metaphor...
2004 huh?
2003 was like a colonoscopy on acid.
Let's hope this year won't turn out like a prostate exam on crack.
I am so bad. I got two christmas cards and I haven't written one in reply yet.
I got a 14 hour DVD set on the history of NYC. They're kind of slow but I find history interesting.
A couple of nights ago...

I've been lethargic in my journal updates.
I was just thinking about how the site has changed.
I am very old school by the way...
sniffs
yeah whatever
Those were the pre-historic days before there were journals... can you even imagine such a thing?
There were about 20 SGs at the time. Rose, DebraJean,Jetta and LEwere among them.

thanks for the tip
i'll give it a whirl.
Okay a week has past since last entry.
Last sunday was something of a wretched hang-over kind of day. I stayed in bed and read my American Splendor compendium and felt better. Hang over days you get that kind of harsh reality check kind point of view where you negatively see everything in your life.
This last week I was sick for a few days,...

My fantasy is to move somewhere other than here. It used to be an island, like somewhere off Thailand or the Phillipines. Lately I consider a place like Portland. Not for any particular reason other than it is much colder and darker than where it is here which seems like a nice change of pace.
I'll live in a studio, or a cabin... a large...

gotta love that existential malaise, non? it'll pass, but you already know that.
i wrestled mortality/banality the other night. it was a draw, but the moment passed and it was over. it'll come again, and i'll deal with it again, and again it will pass.
perhaps it's time for you to move. portland gets the full endorsement. everyone should live there once.

is that anything like the kraft-macaroni and cheese blues?
Thanksgiving was .... ashy.
Santa Anas blew in ash from fires.
I was never clear on whether it's ash from the burnt trees or the same smoky air from three weeks ago.
I'm at a wierd place in my life where I'm strangely looking forward to when everything falls apart so I can hopefully get something halfway right when I have to start over again....

actually, my french is really, really bad.
my current obsession --maybe I should say momentary obsession id figuring out how to type accents. I'm tired of all this special character crap.
I know there's a way to do this-- I saw people talking about it on various help pages before.
Cause my other options seem to be: order a brazilian keyboard in the net, or go to brazil and buy one. too bad the airfares so much. that puts us back at either learning to remap my keyboard, or buying a brazilian keyboard on the net.
yay learning, the cheap option!
I still don'tspeak japanese- I think that was the second part of your comment.....

ack! double comment.
I've played with my keyboard layout with kde now, and with the exception oif the loss of the question mark and the forward slash- everything is great.
/ hey actually there's a forward slash on the number key place thing.
but now I have and all in exchange for the pesky question mark.
is this going to make me insane?(pasted)!
