I couldn't bear to write anything even approaching political but...
I just saw "The Trials of Henry Kissinger". It was good for what it was. Something like Bowling for Columbine only more serious and focused.
Ever hear of Christopher Hitchens? He's my favorite guest on "Hardball w/ Chris Matthews" and his appearances on C-SPANII or golden.
Probably the most articulate, brutally honest journalist seen on TV out there.
Anyway this movie filled in some gaps of history for me. I feel better when I understand something more thoroughly even if it means it reaffirms my view that the world is basically a corrupt and brutal place, and 99% of us all are sheep and fodder.
There is hope though, despite the ignorance and indifference.
Only textbook history is boring.
Real history is equal parts Shakespeare, Jerry Springer and WWF only on a global scale.
