So, what's new? This last week seems like a month.
I'm settling in at the new workplace which is good. I've already written more code this last week than the last eight months at the last lame place I was at.

I refrained from drinking this weekend and feel better about it. Got decent sleep, this cold I'm half-way have didn't get worse.

I did a little food preparation which was actually a cool thing to do. I have to get my kitchen together and cook more. I made my own marinade sauce concoction for a barbeque on Saturday.
Saturday night I all I had was PBR tallboy and some gnarly bud. I watched an SNL from about 20 years ago. Man I remember when that show was pretty good. It was the episode when they shot buckwheat. I remember that when it first came on.
Then I stayed up until 5am watching a couple of vids: The Limey was pretty good. Very interesting characters, including Peter Fonda.
Meanwhile in the background I was tripping out on the previous 24 hours. It alternates between cringing at previous events, then feeling pretty self-satisfied in a delusional kind of way. Then I try and even it out.

The sea of results
plying actions against consequences.
dropping blobs and blurbs
bursts of cinema, oddly
wrapped in bacon embarassment.
Acid shame reflux.
Then the film,
it's Beasts in Motion.
They're hiding daylight.
The retard godhead magician
starts at zero, leaves at midnight
Alone in a room

Today I stayed at work till 8:30 today and last Friday trying to get stuff done, but at least I'm engaged in what I'm doing.
And another big thing, my ex did a surprise visit. Getting kind of sketchy but it worked out not too bad and I resisted temptation.
No one, no how will lay me down
in that soft coffin bedspread
