You're a day late. *taps toe*

I'm still normal! Well, as much as I ever was.

No, before I was living in sin. Now I'm living in the suburbs, which is sinful in its own way. But yeah, my girlfriend lives with me now.

Nintendo, pokemon, or Wizards of the Coast, and it was like 5 years ago, not two. tongue

I worked at KBToys while it was at it's height and damn it was popular. Name a monster after an SG if you can make it happen!

Congrats!

well enough of that. in case you haven't noticed i don't really lie to talk about personal stuff in my journal. at least not the bad stuff, or even the really good stuff. yet somehow i seem to have managed to be on a streak of it, so in that vein, here's more: tomorrow i am going to detroit for a week with my father...

I am interested in joining SG Seattle. I have applied but I don't know anyone as per the requisite. What do you reccomend as the owner of the group.

Sorry you have to go to Detroit--summer time in Detroit is not pleasant and I always hate being away from Seattle in the summer (especially on days like today.)

I dunno, I think your piercings are totally cool so why hide them--you may think I am lame for saying that but if someone doesn't like them that's their problem not yours.

On the convo with Dad front--hmm that is a tough one but I am sure he will be happy to see you--fathers always seem to have a weakness for their daughters--I think it has something to do with their fear of not knowing how to communicate with their daughter (my father is like that with my sister).

Can't really help on the "what to wear" question other than to suggest--be yourself, wear something you feel comfortable in and that you like--somnds like there may be other factors that are uncomfortable (family relationships, etc.)--no reason to put something on your body that is uncomfotable too.

As for the last one--tell your boyfriend he is lame--he should get you a cat! There are to of them who live at my house and they are AWESOME to have around! Great companions and yet give you your space too! (no late night walks, etc.) miao!!

Take care and good luck with the trip . . .

i am fighting with my boyfriend, and it sucks.

don't ask me what it's about, because (as is the case with all fights) it sounds really stupid when i say it out loud. i guess it all boils down to the fact that he can't read my mind, or that he is incredibly insensitive... depends who you ask.

now the downside of living with someone...

Don't hit him with a fryin' pan - early jazz blues female singer style. It's no good for anyone's health.

hey! just so you don't think I'm crazy, I'll be moving to Seattle in a few months so that's why I have applied for the group. StrongMad can vouch for my non-creepiness and Sinovia can vouch for my overall awsomeness.

i have been putting off writing about my graduation because i haven't yet been able to do so without sounding like a whiny bitch. now that i've had a few days to cool down, here's my best shot:

- it poured.
started at the beginning of the ceremony, stopped at the end. it rain exclusively on us. i have never been so cold, wet and...

Ohhh! I wish I could give you a big hug. When I graduated from college it was the same deal. No one there, but I thought I had to go to graduation for whatever reason.

I graduated from the U of Oklahoma. We too had about 4,000 grads. It took fucking forever. All I remember was about a thousand Africans getting public health degrees.

I walked home after thinking, okay now what. To be honest I'm still asking myself that question, but it does get easier and less fatal feeling.

If you think you wasted 5 years, yous crazy. My sister is the smartest person I've ever known. She reads like 3 books simultaneously, and has basically since childhood, but she doesn't have a degree and always has to tolerate shite jobs. A college degree will definitely lessen your pain in the job world.

Any way, any way. Trust me Dude. Things always improve. I know. I've been to the depths many times. It's a roller coaster. You just have to wait for the up click.

I prescribe a dose of Metal Church. I've got it blasting and I'm just waiting for neighbors to complain. Bring it beotches!

Don't be a stranger. oxoxo

for those of you who are just dying to know batman was not very good. it was no sharkboy and lavagirl, but it's still on my list of bad movies i've seen lately.

it was still cheesy, as batman's are bound to be, but then it tried really hard to be scary, dark and serious at the same time, and it was a weird...

not unless you look like a stripper. for those of us who can hold a conversation, day shift is like gold. you get a lot of businessmen on lunch breaks, and they just want to come in, get a dance, and get out. plus, the businessmen are good customers because they often become regulars, and, most of them being married, they don't try to pressure you to meet them outside of the club.

And...c'mon, I gotta know!
(And I talked to my lead at MEOW who said it's not uncommon to waive adoption fees. 2 for 1!)
