in other news, i saw mr and mrs smith tonight, and it was surprisingly good. not the best movie ever, but i had a good time watching it (even though i had to sit in the far left corner of the very frount row).

back in the stony college days, i splurged on some contraption that threw lights up on the wall in time with the music. we just called it the 'thing' and it kept us busy for hours.

san francisco was wonderful.

prom itself was so crowded and loud it was not conducive to deep conversation. for awhile i sat up on the second floor and pretended to be a cool kid, but eventually i discovered that if i went outside with the smokers i could actually talk.

That's why I don't like most parties: all the yelling. I don't have anything worth yelling unless it's, "Get off my foot!" When stuck in such situations, I grab someone who looks like he/she might easily be led out of doors or to a quiet corner, and lead her/him to the outdoors or quiet corner for some real talk.

trying to learn powerpoint makes me want to eat myself into oblivion.

ms products are just horrible. they never do what you want, or they think they know what you want, and try to do it for you, but it's not really what you want at all, and when you try to correct them they freak out.
