I saw my girlfriend for a whole 45 seconds today when she left for work this morning. By the time she got home I was already at work, staring at a computer screen, bored out of my mind. So we didn't do anything special for Valentine's Day. No big, fancy meal. No fun times together. Just work. In fact, I've just gotten home. It's now 2 AM. And this is an early night for me.
But I'm not here to talk about work. I'm here to talk about Jody. Those of you who know her are well aware that she's wonderful and quite a looker as well. Some of you have been kind enough to point out that she could do better than me. Those folks can die in a fire...
I don't really know where to start. Or where would be a good place to end for that matter. I've been lucky enough to be with Jody for almost two years now. The past two years have been up and down for a lot of reasons and a lot of those ups have been because of her. And a lot of the downs have been softened by her as well. I'm really lucky to have such a wonderful friend.
I would keep going on and on but right now there is nothing I want more than to go curl up in bed with her. And the same will be true tomorrow night. And the night after. And all the nights after that.

Hehe I think things like that are a sign things are awesome. I hate that I left behind the object of my affections in Calgary. It's so far away! I'm over visiting 25th march - 2nd April keep me posted if anything interesting is happening!
