I drove 350 miles today to babysit my one year old godson Benjamin. I love every minute of it. I volunteered for it. I fed him. Played with him for hours. Read a bedtime story, gave him his bottle and put him to bed. Now I sit here with a glass of wine and a baby monitor and think to myself of how much I want kids of my own. Oh and I wonder how to get dried peas out from under your fingernails.
