Where Have I Been?

Not that it was noticed by anyone other than me, but it has been a while since I have been on here. As a longtime member of the site, I have seen lots of people come and go. I figured my time was up since I have been on here since 2006, which to put it another way, a person born when I joined would be old enough to model for the site now. I am aware I have never been one of the cool kids, and now I have less in common with people on here than ever before. Having said that, I like posting things on here, even if it is just for me, and if for no other reason than to memorialize where I have been. To quote Jimi Hendrix, "A life unlived is dead", so I am doing the best I can to keep on living.

I went to watch my favorite team when they came to LA to play the Dodgers. My Mets won 9-4 on the day.

I watched the USC spring football game. I can tell this is going to be a rough season for the Trojans.

I spent a day in Venice and Santa Monica. They are tourist places, but even though I live here, it can be fun to hang out there to hear the other languages and accents of people not from the area.

There was the stop by the Chinese Theater on Hollywood and Highland. I hadn't been in that place in years.

I spent a day at the Getty Museum. There were scuptures by Claudel on display, and it was striking how much religious themed are there was during the time of patronage.

I had an afternoon at the Grand Central Market; rode on the Angel's Flight railcar, and stopped in the Bradbury Building.

I made my seasonal pilgrimage to the Petersen Automotive Museum. I didn't know the Lincoln Conntinental from the Matrix was that shade of green.

The lights in front of the LACMA were busier than I would have thought.

I had never been on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. That one is now off of the list.
