The Christmas holiday is officially in my rear view mirror for 2022. Nothing too notable happened; that can be a good thing and a bad thing, I suppose. Last night, I did drive through a neighborhood that has a bunch of houses decorated Christmas lights. I am taking a week away from my office in order to not be a jerk to my staff. As the one person in the office without a significant other or children, it can be a bit awkward when they ask me about Christmas and all I can give them is a blank stare due to a lack of something to contribute in the conversation. I am their boss, so I get why they want to share. Maybe I will get the Christmas spirit one of these years. 🤷
