About Last Night

Last night I forced to make lemons into lemonade. The plan was to go to Lucha Vavoom with some people from work. They had their tickets and I had mine, so it seemed legit. One of them pulled out by saying she was sick, so she and her boyfriend didn't go. The other one pulled out once the first one did. That left me to go on my own. Even though I don't really care for it, I can handle doing things on my own when I know it is going to happen. There is something about the disappointment of plans changing like this one did that really bothers me.

The show was it's usual brand of fun. The lady next to me was really into everything since it was her first time at the show. Translating the Spanish parts for someone was a first for me. The woman and her date were nice single serving friends, as described in the film Fight Club.

Since I was already in downtown LA, I took the time to cross the new Sixth Street Bridge. It did give the sense of leaving downtown and going into Boyle Heights while crossing the LA River. Now my schedule it clear for the next month, so new adventures will have to be found.

I have recently found immense fun out of doing things alone. Hopefully you’ll join that rebellion.

@kalistuh I am definitely a member of that rebellion. I do most stuff on my own, but this one irked me because it wasn't supposed to be that way. 🙂🤷
