Last night was the first time seeing The Black Keys since the beginning of the pandemic ended their tour in 2020. It was a fun night out with my old partner from work and his wife. He had grudgingly became a fan of the band over the years, and it was his first time seeing them.
A Band of Horses was the primary support band. They weren't terrible, but I wasn't blown away. I will admit I was distracted by keeping up with the New York Mets playoff game. My Mets won 7-3 just as A Band of Horses closed their set.
The Black Keys did their thing.
Tonight I get to repeat it all again. The Mets have another playoff game and I am seeing The Black Keys again at a venue in San Bernardino.
