Today was a break in the trial I am on a jury for, so I took the day off from work because I am to hit the limit for how much vacation time I am allowed to have. I have just shy of 8 weeks worth of paid time off on the books. I go to work every day largely because I have nothing else to do. I went to the beach so I didn't waste the day at home.
Too much time to myself is never a good thing for me. It brings into sharp focus how I really don't have real world friends anymore. It sucks, but it's the reality.

Oh, I feel the same about having much time off and realizing my lack of friends. But that was a nice view of the Beach 😁

Beautiful photo, I hope you enjoyed your day off (and hopefully jury duty will be over soon). Finding real world friends is so difficult as an adult. Thankfully my co-workers and I are are really tight-knit, and I have a few childhood friends; but if it weren't for them I wouldn't have a clue where to meet people.
