Journal update ........
Lets see if my birthdate changes again
Thankyou to all of those who sent birthday greetings.


Yesterday on my way to my 'Thursday garden' on my cycle, instead of my normal route alng the edge of a park I went via the main road; I was almost at my clients when I ran over some glass. My tyre went flat instantly leaving me with a 1 1/2 mile walk home afterwards, pushing my fucking bike


This morning, Wimbledon, 5.05 am at the bus stop. I was waiting for the bus to get to my cleaning job & noticed an elderly couple at another stop. The woman came over & asked "Where do I get the bus for Archway?" ...... Archway - North London, Wimbledon - well south of the river.
Something about her manner told me she was an alcoholic even though her speech & movement was normal.
(Thinks: "Oh, here we go - surreal conversation coming up") It wasn't "Can I get a bus to ..." but 'Where do I ...?"
I explained to her that the furthest north she would get from Wimb. without changing was Aldwych.
Then a bus for Tolworth (further west, for non-Londoners) arrived and they got on that.
