I've just learned that one of my favourite singers, Gene Pitney, died last night at at his hotel, in the middle of his UK tour. He was part of the soundtrack to my childhood.

Spent the latter part of the afternoon cleaning out the pond in the back garden and hacking away at the ivy. Every year since the year after the pond was put in there has been frogspawn in it and since last autumn it has filled with dead leaves & other debris. I didn't think it would have been habitable for the next generation of frogs...

yes i think i may have to try the apricot thing..tasty liquor explosion!
didnt take any more pictures..the bulb gives off a crazy amount of light so most of them werent very good. but i'll definately be watching more on it in future..its fun trying to think of the best possible films to play on it..
yes i'd be up for the natural history musuem. the squid is part of a free behind the scenes tour, that unfortunately seems to be fully booked until the end of april..hmm

Ya, it is a nice city, but it's not great. Nice though. The pickpocket thing is still a problem appernently, but i think they only target over the top touristey folk. However, i did see thsoe people y'know that do those card tricks on the footpath, and they hoodwink you. Well, there was this guy doing that, and some of his friends were helping him out, and they got this dutch girl to bet 50 and they made her loose on purpose, pocketed the cash and walked away. She was in floods of tears, cuz she didn't really know what had just happened. And my useless boyfriend wouldn't let me give her 50.
But it was nice. Rant over.
