we had a fantastic day at dover. a very laid back and relaxed day. the really BIG crowds come saturday and sunday. we watched bush series practice then the nextel cup cars qualified. derrike cope qualified 31st. an outstanding effort for his race team. they have 3 cars that they bought from penske racing and 3 team members and derrike as their driver. they have limited funding and they run faster then teams with BIG DOLLARS in sponsorship. it is huge every time they make a race.

the bush east series ran the sunoco 150. it was an exciting race. it was getting dark when it finished. steve park finished second. the racing gods have not smiled on him lately. bad wrecks in nextel cup and head injuries have slowed him down. steve was on fire today! he ran the wheels of his car. it was fun to watch.

daytona, charlotte, bristol, dover, richmond, darlington, rockingham, pocono, nazareth, south boston.

i have had the good fortune of seeing nextel(winston) cup, bush series, craftsman truck series, or arca series races at each of these tracks.
