well, you filthy Portland hippies, i'll be back in the bosom of your dreary city in less than twenty-four hours. i can't say that i've missed the weather.

Atlanta is wonderful, and i love it. every time i come home, i wonder how i ever could have left in the first place. my friends are here, the food is better, and surely the sunshine is infinitely more palatable. it's almost everything that makes me content.

but i have wonderful things waiting for me in the northwest.
