If you've never seen "Alternative 3", I just found it on YouTube. It's one of those gorgeous pieces of fiction whose fictionality does almost nothing to reduce how unsettling it is.

Have you really liked Finnegan's Wake? I have read only small parts and it's quite difficult. Even my english teacher at the university had some difficulties in reading it. I think it's a mixture between English Language and Gaelic Language and, for that reason, it's quite challenging to read. But I am certain: no one would ever translate that book!
