i finished narcissus and goldmund last night, and i think it's my new favorite hesse book, among other things. thanks, j. it's a good thing that was pleasurable, as the sick, sick, masochistic little girl inside of me has decided that all of the flux-time i have before heading out west will be spent reading michel foucault. because somewhere in my brain i decided that this would be a good idea, and that i won't try to kill myself.
