jesus h. christ doin' your momma from behind, has this been a rough few days.

i booted up my baby-love, my closest and dearest friend (named after everyone's favorite fictional colombian colonel) thursday evening to discover that he would not leave open firmware. i tried zapping the pram both with keystrokes and removing the keyboard and pushing the reset button, zapping the nvram, booting up off of another mac, all to no avail. finally today i was able to boot up off a portable firewire hard drive long enough to clean up my directories and restore the os to basic operational pleasantness.

i was invited to a party tonight, but i am spending the evening here with aurelito, backing up what i can and wiping him clean. mmph.

however, when i finish, i'm going to try to hook up my cam and come visit you gorgeous, gorgeous people in the chat room. wish me luck!
