so this was definately the craziest new years ever. i took my girl out for supper to the freehouse. the food was amazing..... i don't know when the last time was that i had a steak that good. we went back to her place for a few drinks and before ya know it i popped the question and she said YES!!! i was so completely nervous and totally emotional.....but i guess when you find someone like that who makes life make sense then you have to go with it.
we then went to her parent's place and spent the rest of the year chilling out in the outdoor hot tub drinking some beer and basking in the whole WTFness of the nite. i'm still in a bit of a "holy shit" sort of mindset.

in other news i went to Rising Sun Tattoos yesterday to get some work done on my arm after Rik closed up shop and left me high and dry with a half finished tattoo. it's probably gonna cost me twice as much as it was supposed to, to get it looking right, now that a new artist has taken over.....
