Ugh some people, there is no getting through to... I just had the stupidest conversation with this girl I used to go to highschool... I knew a long time ago that we had gone in different directions, but oi! She had just watched something on the telly that she had found completely offensive, and wanted to write a letter to her cable company to complain about it.... has she not heard of free speach?! I responded by telling her that I see sports on the tv all the time and I am not into it at all... my solution: change the fucking channel. There are pro-lifers out there that wave their little placards around outside of clinics all the time. Don't like abortion? then don't get one, change the fucking channel! She thinks that the cable company should block out those shows completely, what kind of a candy coated little world is she living in? Other people might like whatever it is she found offensive, and even if they don't they might like the novelty of being able to choose for themselves to take it or leave it, knowing well that they also have the right to speak freely... I think I should get her a copy of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four... she might like it, maybe it will even change her.

I am just venting..... that was a very stupid conversation.
