I've had migraines for a really long time now and I have never been able to get my doctors to do anything about it. One of them finally decided maybe they should look into it instead of just blowing it off and told me I should have a CAT scan.
They just called me and said I've got a "small abnormality" in the left side of my brain. She said they couldn't tell anything more about it until I have an MRI, but I may not be able to have one of those because I've got two steel pins in my leg. Apparantly you can't have any metal objects in the same room as the MRI machine - now I have to wait for them to figure out what to do next...
