My first day away from the hell I've put up with for three and a half years... So relaxing...

They came back and offered me less than my boss said he was trying to get me, but it was still more than the other place. I called them up and told them I had received a better offer to stick around and they matched it. My last day with those assclowns is November 30.

The Director and Vice President of my department are trying like hell to get me to stay. They're supposed to be meeting with the President and COO Monday morning about giving me 50% more to stick around.

I've heard that you shouldn't take a counter-offer to stick around but that's a hell of a lot of money. I know a lot of the stupid bullshit...

I got a call this evening and they extended an offer to me. They didn't offer as much money as I was expecting, but it is still better than what I'm making now. I left my resignation letter on my supervisor's desk tonight. It will be interesting to see if they try and offer me more money to stick around though I can't see them...

I had another interview with their one of their executives this evening. I'm couldn't get a good reading on what he thought of me, so I'm at a loss on whether or not I'll get the job. I guess all I can do now is wait...

I had my interview today and I thought it went pretty well. Even during the technical portion of the interview, they didn't ask me very many technical questions, which I thought was pretty odd.
