As if I don't already have enough work on my plate, I've decided to add even more. The software our help desk uses is absolutely horrible and I always thought it was the application. I was just out of town at a users group conference and it turns out it's not the application its self, but the way we designed our system. I think I'm going to start from scratch and make it easier to use and configure it so we can pull usable report data from it.

I've been looking for a way to make my mark and get the executives to really notice my contributions since they approve the raises. I think this should do the trick...
