Any of you guys have any free time this weekend? Hard to imagine during christmas, but if so, I could use a hand finishing up some remodeling. If any of you could help it'd really be fantastic. My budget's running too low to keep paying out!
Hang some drywall, replace some electric receptacles, sand some floors, paint some walls.
I'm on a redeye back to la tonight.

I didn't take my camera to the wedding, but there will be a bunch of pictures coming from other sources. At some point during the trip, I decided to forget about the camera, it was taking too much attention!
First week I was in Maui, and it poured rain. 4"/hr at one point with 60mph winds. I ended up spending just about every day in the house I was borrowing. One of my employees lives on Maui and I stayed at his place while he & his wfe were away in Florida. His parents own a big house and he's having a small cottage rebuilt for him. There's one pic of Bruce, a builder he had to bring in from Seattle to work. I rented a car for a week and only drove about 100 miles. First set of photos are all fro Maui, until you see a rooster.
2nd week I was in Kaua'i, what a gorgeous island. Big mountains, lush tropical plants & trees everywhere, warm with a nice breeze, a bit of rain showers most days but clears up quick and gives a lot of rainbows. My cousin Brad's new wife Joni is such a doll, and he family are very welcoming. I felt like I knew them all for ages, great people. Her dad is Japanese and her mom Portuguese (long history of Japanese & Portuguese being brought to Hawaii to work on the sugar plantations over the years, along with Chinese and Filipino). I don't know why, but there are roosters EVERYWHERE on Kaua'i, and they cockadoodledoo all day long and even some at night. My cousin Brenda & I went to a luau, a bit touristy bit still fun and good food. Those are the pics of all the flowers and huts and hula dancers. The grand canyon looking place is Wiamea Canyon, on the western side of the island. Awesome sight but a boring place. A few shots of Brad's condo, and one of Morgan in there (Brenda & Antoine' baby). A bunch of pictures from the Wada's house for the rehearsal dinner (Joni's family name is Wada) and then a few shots of the cottage I rented in Kalaheo.
