I feel as if peoples goals in life have gotten so convoluted over the past few decades.
I was raised that I should go to school, get a good education so i could get a good job therefore affording me what makes me happy.
Fundamentally I believe i was taught back fucking asswards.
Why does my happiness have to wait?!?!!
As a child all I needed to do to be happy was to go outside and play with dirt with my friends.
Why the fuck did we complicate it?!?! My phone, computer, games, material things, internet friends ive never met, all point to things outside myself and my current life to make me happy. When you look at it that way, it seems obvious to stop.... And i am....
Slowing down on all this electronic BS.
No more chasing jobs. Time to think outside the box and figure out what I NEED to make myself happy day to day.
Only when we've lost everything are we free to do anything.
