Back in Southbeach thru June 2, with the occaisional road trip scouting for a feature film project. Working also on a neighborhood development to remodel a house into an artist communities for one or two week cross discipline artist residency. Does anyone have any personal experience having been a participant in an artist residency ? Would love to hear from you about what you valued most ? What worked ? what would you have liked more of ? Hi, I lived in a very informal community in an old shoe warehouse in Rockland MA. We weren't supposed to live there but we did anyway, and the managers/owners liked us there because we were good for security and basically responsible.

What was the best thing about it was just the friendships. The worst was one or two people would eventually feel taken advantage of for doing the most for the community, like building a shower or organizing parties. We also had a pervert who made the girls feel leery.

Keep me updated, I and some other so fla folks might be interested in this!!
