::yawn:: the baby at this house was upset last night... her mommy was out and there wasn't anything dad or I could do to convince baby that it's ok and that mommy will be back soon. (think less than two weeks old.) it was rough... not loud crying, but constant. she may have had an upset tummy, but I think it's more that mom wasn't here....
(for this silly hurricane thing, i've been staying with a family who ovbiously just gave birth and already has one that's almost four. the dad character is an old friend of mine, one of my oldest, and his wife, i've just met. they're the rockinest people I know. anyways, mom had been stuckin the house for months because of the baby and one of her girlfriends was performing, so she took a few hours to go out. she deserved it. but yea.) I fell asleep before she got home.
It's funny, I'm learning alot about families and human body stuff... for example. a women's breasts will swell with milk and start to leak just before the baby wakes up and will want to eat. it's as if the umbilical cord is still attached even after the baby is born.
It makes sence when you think about it from an evolutionary standpoint. Women have had to keep track of the babies until they stop breast feeding them, and to know when a baby needs something is highly important because the others in the baby's life (dad and friends) have not a clue as to what's wrong, while mom could probally figure it out. it's really kinda crazy.

plans for today.
-finish drinking tea.
- gather stuff and pack it into car
- call john
- head up with john to my place to deposit the stuff from my car in my house (electic isn't on yet, but I need to clean out my car, it's buggin me)
- poke around, go see my folks, assess damage left to be pickedup from storm.
- swing by plantation and hit a comic book store there (I've sooo let my sequential art thing slide...)
- return john to his car.
after that, i'm a free jail bird!!!!!

yeah i sort of gave up on comics, i maintain my old collection, btu i have no idea what art or who is even penning them these days
once the comics started bing made to be collector items i stopped caring...long live stan lee!!!!!!!!!!!
