the hardest part about moving is you leave all your old people behind and you don't have any new people yet. the lonliness is the killer.
the second hardest part about moving is that your old people that are where you left don't call you anymore because you're not there. the term out of sight out of mind is completely applicable.
So not only are you lonely because you don't know anybody, everyone you do know who's somewhere else doesn't know you anymore.
