Today, I sat at the edge of where the water laps upon the sand and started to bury myself. Occasionally, the water would arrive and take away half of my sand, but I kept buliding, and burying and moving it about like I thought the sand should be. about the time I'd rebulit about four or five times, I realized that a) it would never stay like I put it because the tides would put the sand where it needed to be, not where I, a lowly human, put it and b) I enjoyed feeling the water wash over my feet and ankles and take away the sand and allow the sun to warm my skin.
Sometimes in understanding the futality of creating permanance and the acceptance that we are no more than mist upon the earth we find freedom.
::sigh:: I am free.
