for the sake of the plants, we deal with shit.
for the sake of doing well in school, we deal with shit.
for the sake of having employment, we deal with shit.
for the sake of significant others we deal with shit.
for the sake of keeping happy living arrangements, we deal with shit.
for the sake of true friendships we deal with shit.
shit permeates our lives. why are people so afraid of it? Why do they attempt to flush it away as if it is something that will not help us?
My closest are those who have dealt with the shit. They are the ones who have let me see their shit and they have seen mine. They know that there is shit that I possess and havn't delt with yet and by golly gee I know that there is shit that they are hiding for exactly the same purposes. Though we encourage eachother to deal with their shit and we let them know when it gets too damn smelly, only the shit owner can do a damn thing about it. Regardless, we love the hell outta them. That's all we can do.
The best thing you can do with shit is to accept it. Accept your friend who's alittle flaky or anal or slightly out there. Accept those who are completely rooted in their box they cannot open it to see the night stars to navigate by. Accept the ones who are so fluid they have difficutly functioning in a boxed world. And those who seem fully adjusted, you know there's something there, accept it too, before you are givin knowledge of what it is. Love the person for who they are, not who you want them to be.
From the soil that's been composted grows the biggest plants with the best producing fruit. I can speak from experience. (literally and figurativly)
Lovie, you can't think your way out of something you felt your way into.
Kisses.

It really sucks when it takes abit to get it. To understand what was happening... To see him cry because he cares so freakin much yet refuses to show it otherwize... Frustration has mounted beyond belief. Confusion regarding what he thinks and feels because he doesn't say it outright.. (but then again, I don't hear it outright. Words, as fantaboulas as they are, don't speak loudly to me. Who knows why? maybe it's that I've been lied to so many times. Actions scream ten million times louder. If your actions don't show me, i've a hard time believing you. Make me know it.)
I love this man. Not for anything he says or does, but because he is. I know he's got a truckload of talent waiting to be tapped and used. If it's not, I'd be severely saddened because the world will be a different place without it. I want him to do well, with or without me. I know he can.
I'm off to sleep in my bed tonite. It's time to learn to swim and sleeping alone is the first step. I hate it. That's the one thing I severely do not want to have to learn to do. I want to snuggle up in his arms and breathe him in and know that not a damn thing will interupt the night and if it does he'll handle it. But, before that could happen, I must be comfortable doing it myself. regardless of what's going on. it's gotta be mine.
kisses. night.
